TV and radio presenter Phil Clifton is a comedy creator, who runs several popular, global content platforms. He says that running these accounts has opened his eyes into the dynamics and the relationship that you have with social media and the impacts of that on your mental health. “Social media can be an incredible way to engage with people, to discover yourself, to discover other people,” he says. “But if you’re frustrated or anxious or angry or stressed, then you need to go and engage face-to-face with a real human being.” Phil gives some advice to young people – and their parents – about balance and tolerance on social media.
