A Pressure Cooker of Emotions, Jules Guaitamacchi

Trailer Full video

Emotional Wellbeing Presenter & Facilitator in Schools

At the age of 21, Jules Guaitamacchi realised that they could put their own experience to use helping others. Jules had been bullied from the age of eleven and had resorted to drugs and alcohol as a way of self-medicating. Jules describes the ‘pressure cooker of emotions’ bursting out. After a family intervention, Jules turned their life around. By speaking to young people in schools about their story and talking about issues like drugs, eating disorders and self-harm, Jules wants to prevent others going through the same experiences. Jules also believes that parents should hear more of these stories. ‘Asking for help will save your life,’ Jules says.
