Dr Anna Yusim studied how she could integrate psychiatry with spirituality when she felt something was missing during her training. She recommends stream of consciousness journalling every day for a few minutes: just write without thinking. Our dreams are a form of this as well, trying to make sense of the difficult things we can’t address in our conscious life. In this video, she suggests way we can tap into our intuition.
She says: “Wherever you find it – religion, yoga, meditation, your own inner sense of prayer – spirituality helps you to align with your soul and live a more authentic life. Your still quiet voice within (your intuition) can only be heard when you quieten everything else.”
