A horrific car crash nearly cost the champion race car driver his life. Instead it took his legs. But against all odds, the Italian icon got back behind the wheel and onto the racetrack, and then found a new pursuit: hand cycling. Before long, he’d won the Paralympics and the New York City Marathon. Already one of the greatest drivers in racing history, he’s proven that he’s the toughest mentally, too.
