Alice Liveing is a personal trainer, author and wellbeing influencer. She experienced depression and anxiety after several years of suppressing memories of an abusive relationship, and went through panic attacks and night terrors. Now, Alice says, she knows that she can get back up and come through those feelings. Alice tells us that it took her a while to find the right therapists — as with a personal trainer, the same style doesn’t suit everyone. She’s found exercise ‘game-changing’ as a way to cope — Alice also recommends having a good support network, eating and sleeping well, and taking a selective approach to using social media in a positive way.
